In order to enhance employees’ awareness of intellectual property rights, improve their ability to protect intellectual property and deeply implement Anho’s value concept of “driven by innovation, service-based and brand-oriented”, Anho organized an intellectual property training in the conference room on the afternoon of March 14th. More than 50 employees from business department, design department and finance department participated in the training.

Unitalen Attorneys at Law, which has maintained a friendly and cooperative relationship with our company, was specially invited to carry out professional training. Due to the recent sporadic cases in many parts of the country and the complex and severe epidemic situation in Guangdong, this training was change from offline to online. Although the training form was changed, the training content was still full and practical. This training was taught by Liu Siyan, a patent attorney and trainee lawyer of Unitalen. The training contents covered the introduction of trademark concept, standardized use of trademark, how to save evidence of trademark use, trademark law and actual cases analysis, etc.

Mrs. Liu Siyan first introduced the definition of trademark and how to distinguish trademark from commodity name and commodity decoration with several well-known brands. Then, taking Anho’s trademark as an example, she explained in detail how to standardize the use of trademark and emphasized several common mistakes. As Anho Group has many brands and trademarks, how to preserve the trademark use and avoid being exploited by competitors is our most concern. Besides, Mrs. Liu explained the regulations on trademark protection in the trademark law according to the specific situation of Anho, and listed what can be regarded as valid evidence of trademark use when the trademark is applied for trademark revocation. She also interpreted the specific legal recognition rules and key points of each kind of trademark use evidence by analyzing two actual cases.

In the final questioning session of the training, our employees actively put forward their own questions and opinions, and discussed with Mr. Liu which links and documents should be retained as valid evidence of trademark use in our daily work. After the training, our employees all expressed that they have had a very clear understanding of the concept of trademark and trademark protection. In the future, we will pay more attention to study intellectual property rights and strengthen the awareness of intellectual property protection, so as to lay a solid fundation for Anho’s long-term healthy development and sustainable core competitiveness.
